Download PDF feature retirement
PDF download of documentation sets is scheduled to retire on 1/3/2022.
We are retiring Download PDF due to critical usability issues. There are several serious issues with the feature including lack of control over what is included in the PDF (page counts for PDFs are commonly in the hundreds or thousands), inconsistent availability across documentation sets and other content types (Reference, Learn, etc.). Most critical, the PDFs generated are completely inaccessible. Additionally, our new approach to localization does not support generating the PDFs. The current implementation makes addressing any of these issues expensive.
