Remarks

Important

When the phone is pin locked, email notifications may come in with no information due to Data Protection Under pin Lock (DPUL). This feature is enabled by the end-user.

Calling this API requires that the ID_CAP_SMS and ID_CAP_SMS_COMPANION capabilities be specified in the application manifest.

Properties

AccessoryNotificationType	An AccessoryNotificationType that specifies the type of notification received. For email notifications, this value is AccessoryNotificationType.Email.
AccountName	Account name on the phone.
AppDisplayName	Represents the display name of the app that generated the email notification.
AppId	The ID of the app associated with the notification, if applicable. This is not the ID of the app in the store. It is the ID of the app instance on the specific phone to uniquely identify the app.
EmailMessage	An EmailMessage object that contains additional details about the email.
MessageEntryId	Represents a unique identifier for an individual email in phone MAPI store.
ParentFolderName	Name of the parent folder of the email message.
SenderAddress	The email address of the sender of the email message.
SenderName	Display name of the sender for the email message.
StartedProcessing	Specifies whether the accessory has started processing the email notification.
TimeCreated	Represents the date and time at which the email notification was created.
Timestamp	Represents the date and time at which the notification was delivered from Accessory Manager service to the accessory app.
