IDiaSymbol::get_arrayIndexType

Retrieves the symbol interface of the array index type of the symbol.

Syntax

HRESULT get_arrayIndexType ( 
   IDiaSymbol** pRetVal
);

Parameters

pRetVal

[out] Returns an IDiaSymbol object that represents the array index type of the symbol.

Return Value

If successful, returns S_OK; otherwise, returns S_FALSE or error code.

Note

A return value of S_FALSE means the property is not available for the symbol.

Remarks

Some languages can specify the type used as an index to an array. The symbol returned from this method specifies that type.
