The CAST Highlight benefit in Visual Studio subscriptions
Developers need critical insights on their software when migrating to the cloud. With CAST Highlight, Visual Studio Enterprise subscribers can rapidly scan their application source code to identify the cloud readiness of their applications for migration to Azure and monitor progress of their app both during and after a migration.
Visual Studio Enterprise subscribers can get a free, full feature one-month subscription to CAST Highlight for up to five apps per subscriber.
Sign in to https://my.visualstudio.com/benefits.
Locate the CAST Highlight benefit tile in the "Tools" category, and click on Get Code.
You will see a message letting you know your code has been retrieved successfully. Click Activate, at which point you'll be redirected to the CAST Highlight page where you can continue the activation process. (If you do not choose to activate now, you can always come back to the CAST Highlight tile in the subscription portal. The "Get Code" link will change to "Activate", and clicking it will resume the activation process.)
You'll be redirected to the CAST Highlight page where you can explore the features of your subscription. When you're ready to create your account, simply provide your contact information in the web form and click Submit.
Activations of the CAST Highlight benefit are limited to ten per organization. If your organization's ten activations have already been consumed, you will be unable to activate the CAST Highlight benefit and you'll receive an email with further information.
After you submit your information, you'll see a page confirming receipt of your request.
The CAST team will evaluate your request, and will contact you to finalize creation of your account.
You will also receive the following email from CAST, confirming the receipt of your request.
