The GetCompletionStatus method retrieves the completion status of an I/O request.

Syntax

HRESULT GetCompletionStatus();

Return value

GetCompletionStatus returns S_OK for a successful completion status. Otherwise, this method returns one of the error codes that are defined in Winerror.h.
