IUIAutomation::RectToVariant method (uiautomationclient.h)

Creates a VARIANT that contains the coordinates of a rectangle.

Syntax

HRESULT RectToVariant(
  [in]          RECT    rc,
  [out, retval] VARIANT *var
);

Parameters

[in] rc

Type: RECT*

A pointer to a structure that contains the coordinates of the rectangle.

[out, retval] var

Type: VARIANT*

Receives the coordinates of the rectangle.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

The returned VARIANT has a data type of VT_ARRAY | VT_R8.
