ISelectionProvider::GetSelection method (uiautomationcore.h)

Retrieves a Microsoft UI Automation provider for each child element that is selected.

Syntax

HRESULT GetSelection(
  [out, retval] SAFEARRAY **pRetVal
);

Parameters

[out, retval] pRetVal

Type: SAFEARRAY**

Receives a pointer to a SAFEARRAY that contains an array of pointers to the IRawElementProviderSimple interfaces of the selected elements. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
