IAppxEncryptedBundleWriter3::AddExternalPackageReference method (appxpackaging.h)

Adds a reference within the encrypted package bundle to an external app package.

Syntax

HRESULT AddExternalPackageReference(
  [in] LPCWSTR fileName,
  [in] IStream *inputStream,
  [in] BOOL    isDefaultApplicablePackage
);

Parameters

[in] fileName

The name of the payload file. The file name path must be relative to the root of the package.

[in] inputStream

An IStream that provides the contents of fileName.

[in] isDefaultApplicablePackage

A flag for whether this package is a default applicable package.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
