Graphics::DrawArc(constPen*,constRect&,REAL,REAL) method (gdiplusgraphics.h)

The Graphics::DrawArc method draws an arc. The arc is part of an ellipse.

Syntax

Status DrawArc(
  [in]      const Pen    *pen,
  [in, ref] const Rect & rect,
  [in]      REAL         startAngle,
  [in]      REAL         sweepAngle
);

Parameters

[in] pen

Type: const Pen*

Pointer to a pen that is used to draw the arc.

[in, ref] rect

Type: const Rect

Reference to the rectangle that bounds the ellipse that contains the arc.

[in] startAngle

Type: REAL

Real number that specifies the angle between the x-axis and the starting point of the arc.

[in] sweepAngle

Type: REAL

Real number that specifies the angle between the starting and ending points of the arc.

Return value

Type: Status

If the method succeeds, it returns Ok, which is an element of the Status enumeration.

If the method fails, it returns one of the other elements of the Status enumeration.
