IPresentationFactory::IsPresentationSupportedWithIndependentFlip method (presentation.h)
Gets a value that indicates whether independent-flip-enabled presentation is supported on the backing D3D device.

TRUE if independent-flip-enabled presentation is supported; otherwise, FALSE.
