Partition Properties
Partitions have five properties available. These properties and their descriptions are as follows:

Partition Name

A text string associated with the partition.

Partition ID
-
A GUID that the system uses to correlate a user to a partition.

Description

A textual description of the partition.

Disable Deletion
-
A mechanism for prohibiting a user from deleting a partition.

Disable Changes
-
A mechanism for prohibiting a user from making changes to a partition.
These properties are viewable by right-clicking a partition name within the Component Services administrative tool and choosing Properties.
