CreateVirtualHardDisk method of the Msvm_ImageManagementService class

Creates a virtual hard disk file.

Syntax

uint32 CreateVirtualHardDisk(
  [in]  string              VirtualDiskSettingData,
  [out] CIM_ConcreteJob REF Job
);

Parameters

VirtualDiskSettingData [in]

String that contains an embedded instance of the Msvm_VirtualHardDiskSettingData class that is used to define attributes of the virtual hard disk to be created.

Job [out]

A reference to the job (can be Null if the task is completed).

Return value

This method returns one of the following values.

Completed with No Error (0)
