Predicate<T>

Predicate<T> que define las condiciones de los elementos que se van a buscar.

Boolean

true si array contiene uno o varios elementos que coinciden con las condiciones definidas por el predicado especificado; de lo contrario, false.

Excepciones

array es null.

En el ejemplo siguiente se especifican las condiciones de coincidencia para el Exists método mediante expresiones lambda para comprobar si un planeta comienza con una letra determinada o si el planeta se encuentra en la matriz especificada.

En el ejemplo siguiente se usa el Exists método para indicar si los nombres de una matriz de cadenas comienzan con un carácter especificado. En el ejemplo se crea una instancia de un StringSearcher objeto pasando la cadena para buscar en su constructor de clase. El StringSearcher.StartsWith método tiene la misma firma que el Predicate<T> delegado. Cuando se llama al Exists método , cada miembro de la matriz se pasa al delegado hasta que devuelve true o recorre en iteración todos los elementos de la matriz.

Comentarios

Predicate<T> es un delegado de un método que devuelve true si el objeto pasado a él coincide con las condiciones definidas en el delegado. Los elementos de array se pasan individualmente a Predicate<T>y el procesamiento se detiene cuando se encuentra una coincidencia.

Nota

En C# y Visual Basic, no es necesario crear el Predicate<T> delegado explícitamente. Estos idiomas deducen el delegado correcto del contexto y lo crean automáticamente. En F#, las funciones y las expresiones lambda se convierten implícitamente.
