Note This section describes functionality designed for use by online stores. Use of this functionality outside the context of an online store is not supported.

The stopBackgroundProcessing method is implemented by the online store to terminate background processing tasks.

Syntax

HRESULT stopBackgroundProcessing();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code	Description
S_OK	The method succeeded.

Remarks

Calls to stopBackgroundProcessing occur after calls to startBackgroundProcessing to signal the online store that background processing tasks must be suspended.
