Generación de información del Registro para un instalador
La utilidad RegPkg.exe se puede usar para generar un manifiesto de registro para un VSPackage administrado. El manifiesto se puede incorporar en un paquete de instalación de Windows Installer. RegPkg también puede generar un archivo que se puede incluir en un archivo de origen de instalación basado en el conjunto de herramientas XML de Windows Installer.
Importante
RegPkg genera nombres de ruta de acceso específicos del sistema de desarrollo, por lo que cada vez que usa RegPkg, debe editar la salida para usar las propiedades con formato de Windows Installer adecuadas. Por ejemplo, el InprocServer32 valor debe ser <SystemFolder>mscoree.dll y las rutas de acceso deben usar <#filekey> y <$componentkey.> Ajustar la salida de esta manera admite equipos con Windows instalados en una unidad diferente o en un directorio diferente, nombres de directorio localizados y rutas de acceso que los usuarios pueden elegir. Si sigue las convenciones regPkg para las rutas de acceso del sistema de desarrollo (por ejemplo, identificadores de archivo del formulario File_<filename>), debe realizar menos cambios.
Para crear un manifiesto de registro
Ejecute RegPkg con el modificador /regfile . Proporcione cualquier otro modificador, el nombre del archivo de salida y la ruta de acceso del VSPackage.
Por ejemplo, en el símbolo del sistema, escribiría algo parecido a lo siguiente:
