This post was written by Jeff Sandquist, Corporate Vice President, Developer Relations.

Today we're announcing the release of several new experiences to empower our customers to achieve more, with the preview release Microsoft Q&A, Microsoft Assessments and many exciting new features launching on Microsoft Learn – the best place to start learning Microsoft technologies.

It was just over a year ago we launched Microsoft Learn at Microsoft Ignite with over 80 hours of Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power BI interactive training. We've been hard at work over the last year and are excited to share that we now have more than 700 modules and over 580 hours of training with expansion across Azure, Dynamics, Power BI and the addition of M365 learning paths. Microsoft Learn is hands down the best resource to help you master your skills as well as prepare for certification exams. This week we have launched several new experiences:

Q&A

For over 10 years the MSDN and TechNet Forums played a key part in enabling our customers to unblock their business scenarios by offering a platform where technical questions could be answered by Microsoft and the community. As time progressed, and technology evolved, the needs of the community grew beyond what the existing solution could provide. We're excited to share an important milestone in the journey, introducing the preview release of Microsoft Q&A - the place to get answers to all your technical questions on Microsoft products and services.

Samples

One of the big pieces of feedback we hear from developers is the need to have samples when they learn a product or service. We built a centralized site where, no matter what platform, you can find code samples to get started as well as code that can be used in your existing scenarios. You are also able to download and deploy them in one click!

Microsoft Assessments

Microsoft Assessments is a preview release of a new feature aimed at helping customers evaluate their business strategies and workloads. Three assessments are now available — a cloud journey tracker, a governance benchmark assessment and an Azure architecture review assessment - to help companies better use Azure. This tool provides guidance to help businesses of various sizes on their cloud journey, offering customized recommendations based on their current processes, workloads and employees.

Certifications on Learn

At last year's Microsoft Ignite, we announced a shift from product-based to role-based training and certifications based on industry-recognized skill sets. Since announcing this shift, we've introduced 31 new certifications across Azure, Modern Workplace, and Business Applications. You can now discover all of them from our Certifications browser!

Profile

To accommodate all these amazing features, and some that are in the works, we also redesigned our profile pages. The updated profile includes an easier to use layout, an overview page which enables users to quickly pick up where they left off, the ability to link multiple accounts to your profile, and a single place to manage all of your settings. Have you created your profile and secured a good URL?
