If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

When you create a marker using CreateLineMarker, you pass in a pointer to your implementation of IVsTextMarkerClient, which allows you to receive event notification associated with that marker type. Use UnadviseClient to disable event notification.
