Keterangan

Jika klien dan server HTTP berharap untuk bertukar data beberapa kali dalam waktu singkat, koneksi persisten mempercepat komunikasi mereka dengan memungkinkan mereka menghindari overhead yang diperlukan untuk membuka dan menutup koneksi TCP untuk setiap pesan. Koneksi persisten digunakan secara luas dalam komunikasi antara browser Web modern dan server Web.
