L'evento ModeChanging viene generato quando un FormView controllo tenta di passare tra modifica, inserimento e modalità di sola lettura, ma prima della modalità in realtà cambia. In questo modo è possibile fornire un metodo di gestione eventi che esegue una routine personalizzata, ad esempio la configurazione del controllo per una modalità specifica o l'annullamento FormView della modifica della modalità, ogni volta che si verifica questo evento.
Un FormViewInsertEventArgs oggetto viene passato al metodo di gestione degli eventi, che consente di determinare la modalità in cui viene modificato il controllo, per determinare se l'evento FormViewModeChanging è stato generato come risultato di un'operazione di modifica o inserimento o per indicare che la modifica della modalità deve essere annullata. Per determinare la nuova modalità, usare la NewMode proprietà . È anche possibile usare la NewMode proprietà per specificare a livello di codice una modalità alternativa a cui modificare impostandolo su uno dei valori di FormViewMode enumerazione. Utilizzare la CancelingEdit proprietà per determinare se questo evento è stato generato come risultato dell'annullamento di un'operazione di modifica o inserimento.
