Nell'esempio di codice seguente viene illustrato come creare un gestore eventi per l'evento Click . Il ImageMap controllo contiene due RectangleHotSpot oggetti . La ImageMap.HotSpotMode proprietà è impostata su HotSpotMode.PostBack, che determina la pubblicazione della pagina nel server ogni volta che un utente fa clic su uno degli RectangleHotSpot oggetti . L'evento Click viene gestito dal VoteMap_Clicked gestore eventi. L'evento Click viene generato quando si fa clic su un HotSpot oggetto in un ImageMap controllo . Per consentire a un HotSpot oggetto di generare l'evento Click , è prima necessario impostare la ImageMap.HotSpotMode proprietà o la HotSpot.HotSpotMode proprietà su HotSpotMode.PostBack. Per controllare le azioni eseguite a livello di codice quando si fa clic su un postback HotSpot , specificare un gestore eventi per l'evento Click .

Una PostBackValue proprietà archivia una stringa associata al comportamento dell'oggetto HotSpot quando si fa clic. Questa stringa viene passata nei dati dell'evento ImageMapEventArgs HotSpot quando si fa clic su .
