Nell'esempio seguente viene illustrato lo scenario illustrato nella sezione Osservazioni. L'esempio consente a un utente di immettere i dati per un elemento della libreria e inviare i dati. Commenti

Il ValidateWithoutUpdate metodo consente di eseguire regole di convalida in un'associazione senza aggiornare l'origine dell'associazione. Ciò è utile quando si vuole convalidare l'input utente e aggiornare l'origine in momenti diversi in un'applicazione.

Si supponga, ad esempio, di avere un modulo per aggiornare un'origine dati contenente un pulsante di invio. Si vuole fornire commenti e suggerimenti all'utente se viene immesso un valore non valido prima che l'utente tenti di inviare il modulo. È possibile controllare la validità di un campo impostando la proprietà dell'associazione UpdateSourceTrigger su Explicit e chiamando ValidateWithoutUpdate quando l'oggetto perde lo TextBox stato attivo.
