製品のマルチクラウド、マルチプラットフォーム機能をより適切に伝え、Microsoft Entra 製品ファミリの名前を統合するため、Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) の名前は Microsoft Entra ID に変更されました。

この記事では、新しい製品名とアイコンを使用してドキュメントやコンテンツを更新するお客様や組織のベストプラクティスとサポートについて説明します。

前提条件

ドキュメントまたはコンテンツでインスタンスを Azure AD から Microsoft Entra ID に変更する前に、「Azure AD の新しい名前」のガイダンスを理解して、次のことを行います。

コンテンツをスキャンして、Azure AD とその同義語への参照を識別します。すべてのインスタンスの詳細な一覧をコンパイルします。

リスト内の例外を特定します。
- 破壊的変更をしないでください。
- 名前付けガイダンスの「変更されない名前」セクションを確認し、どの Azure AD 用語が変更されていないかについて注意してください。
- Active Directory のインスタンスを変更しないでください。 Azure Active Directory の名前だけが変更されており、Active Directory は変更されません。これは、別の製品である Windows Server Active Directory の短縮名です。
将来の使用状況に基づいて評価し、優先順位を付けます。どのコンテンツを更新する必要があるかは、ユーザー向けか、組織内、対象ユーザー、お客様ベースで広く認知されているかに基づいて検討します。エンドユーザーへの公開が制限されている場合は、一部のコードまたはコンテンツを更新する必要がない場合があります。

ビデオやブログなどの既存の日付付きコンテンツを将来の視聴者のために更新する価値があるかどうかを判断します。古いコンテンツの名前を変更しなくてもかまいません。エンドユーザーを支援するために、"Azure AD は ID Microsoft Entra になりました" などの免責事項を追加できます。

テキストベースのコンテンツに "検索と置換" を使用する

関連するツールを使用して、組織のコンテンツとエクスペリエンスを更新します。

ほとんどすべての編集ツールは、ネイティブまたはプラグインを使用して、"検索と置換 (search and replace)" または "検索と置換 (find and replace)" 機能を提供します。任意のアプリを使用します。
[検索と置換] を使って、文字列 Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、AAD を検索します。
すべてのインスタンスを Microsoft Entra ID に置き換えないでください。
各インスタンスが製品または製品の機能を参照しているかどうかを確認します。

テキスト文字列が前の用語の名前付け辞書で見つかった場合は、新しい用語に変更します。
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、または AAD の後に句読点がある場合は、それが製品名であるため、Microsoft Entra ID に置き換えます。
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、または AAD の後に、for、Premium、Plan、P1、または P2 が続く場合、それは SKU 名またはサービスプランを示しているため、Microsoft Entra ID に置き換えます。
冠詞 (a、an、the) または所有格 (your、your organization's) が (Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、AAD) の前にある場合は、機能名であるため Microsoft Entra に置き換えます。次に例を示します。

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、または AAD の後に前の手順に含まれない形容詞または名詞が続く場合は、機能名であるため Microsoft Entra に置き換えます。たとえば、Azure AD Conditional Access は Microsoft Entra Conditional Access になり、Azure AD tenant は Microsoft Entra tenant になります。
それ以外の場合は、Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)、Azure Active Directory、Azure AD、または AAD を Microsoft Entra ID に置き換えます。

グラフィックスとアイコンを更新する

グラフィックスとアイコンを更新するには、次の手順のようにします。

最初の 1 年間は、Azure Active Directory is now Microsoft Entra ID を追加するか、新しい名前の後に formerly Azure Active Directory を付けます。
