Administrators will use the event logs created by the Semantic Logging Application Block to monitor and trace the behavior of applications. The custom event source classes in these applications define precisely what those events look like, making it easier for administrators to work with the event data stored in the logs; for example, by querying for specific events or analyzing the collected events.

Two of an administrator's other tasks will be to ensure that the initial deployment of the Semantic Logging Application Block is planned and managed, and that subsequent updates are deployed with minimal impact to existing applications that use the application block.
