Returns the index at which the given item belongs in the collection view.

Parameters

item: Object

The object to look for in the collection.

Returns

Int32

The index of the item in the collection, or -1 if the item does not exist in the collection view.

Remarks

This method evaluates the index with any SortDescriptions or Filter properties that are set on the view.
