개요

요소는 <httpCompression> IIS(인터넷 정보 서비스) 7에 대한 HTTP 압축 설정을 지정합니다. HTTP 압축은 압축된 파일을 수락할 수 있는 IIS와 클라이언트 브라우저 간에 더 빠른 전송 시간을 제공할 수 있습니다.

참고

HTTP 클라이언트는 적절한 HTTP 수락 인코딩 헤더를 전송하여 압축된 콘텐츠에 대한 통신을 시작해야 합니다. 클라이언트가 HTTP 압축을 수행할 수 없는 경우 해당 헤더를 전달하지 않으며 IIS 7은 항상 압축되지 않은 콘텐츠를 반환합니다.

IIS 7에서 사용하는 압축에는 두 가지 유형이 있습니다.

정적 압축:

IIS 7은 디렉터리 특성으로 지정된 경로에 압축된 정적 콘텐츠를 캐시하므로 이미 압축된 콘텐츠를 다시 압축할 필요가 없으므로 압축 성능이 향상됩니다. IIS 7에서 파일을 압축한 후 후속 요청에는 캐시 디렉터리에서 파일의 압축된 복사본이 제공됩니다.

staticCompressionEnableCpuUsage 및 staticCompressionDisableCpuUsage 특성은 IIS 7이 CPU 사용량에 따라 정적 파일을 압축할 시기를 지정합니다.

HTML 파일(*.html, *.htm), 텍스트 파일(*.txt), Microsoft Office 문서(*.doc, *.xls, *.ppt) 등 일반적으로 변경되지 않는 파일과 함께 정적 압축을 사용해야 합니다. 이러한 파일의 크기는 압축을 통해 줄일 수 있으므로 클라이언트 요청의 다운로드 시간을 줄이고 서버의 대역폭을 줄일 수 있습니다.

참고

*.jpg 및 *.png 파일과 같은 이미지 파일도 정적 파일이지만 일반적으로 이러한 이미지 파일이 이미 압축되어 있으므로 HTTP 압축의 이점을 누릴 수 없습니다.
동적 압축:

정적 압축과 달리 IIS 7은 클라이언트가 콘텐츠를 요청할 때마다 동적 압축을 수행하지만 압축된 버전은 디스크에 캐시되지 않습니다. 이 변경은 정적 콘텐츠와 동적 콘텐츠 간의 주요 차이로 인해 수행됩니다. 정적 콘텐츠는 변경되지 않습니다. 그러나 동적 콘텐츠는 일반적으로 애플리케이션에서 생성되는 콘텐츠이므로 ASP(Active Server Pages) 또는 ASP.NET 콘텐츠와 같이 자주 변경됩니다. 동적 콘텐츠는 자주 변경되어야 하므로 IIS 7은 이를 캐시하지 않습니다.

dynamicCompressionEnableCpuUsage 및 dynamicCompressionDisableCpuUsage 특성은 IIS 7이 CPU 사용량에 따라 동적 파일을 압축할 시기를 지정합니다.

IIS 7은 다음과 같은 두 가지 업계 표준 압축 체계를 지원합니다.

Deflate - 이 압축 형식은 RFC(Requests For Comment) 사양 1951에 설명되어 있습니다.
GZIP (GNU zip) - 이 압축 형식은 RFC(Requests For Comment) 사양 1952에 설명되어 있습니다.

이러한 두 압축 구성표는 각각 요소의 <httpCompression> 요소를 사용하여 <schemes> 사용하도록 설정할 수 있습니다.

설치 프로그램

staticCompressionIgnoreHitFrequency를 구성하는 방법

IIS(인터넷 정보 서비스) 관리자를 엽니다.
- Windows Server 2012 R2를 사용하는 경우:
  - 작업 표시줄에서 서버 관리자 클릭하고 도구를 클릭한 다음 IIS(인터넷 정보 서비스) 관리자를 클릭합니다.
- Windows 8.1 사용하는 경우:
  - Windows 키를 누른 채로 문자 X를 누른 다음 제어판 클릭합니다.
  - 관리 도구를 클릭한 다음 IIS(인터넷 정보 서비스) 관리자를 두 번 클릭합니다.
연결 창에서 서버를 선택한 다음 구성 편집기를 두 번 클릭합니다.
구성 편집기에서 섹션에서 system.webServer를 선택한 다음, httpCompression을 선택합니다.
staticCompressionIgnoreHitFrequency의 경우 를 입력 True 하여 특정 기간 내에 특정 횟수에 도달한 경우에만 정적 파일이 압축되는 동작을 사용하지 않도록 설정하거나 를 입력 False 하여 동작을 사용하도록 설정합니다.

구성

특성

attribute	Description
`cacheControlHeader`	선택적 문자열 특성입니다. IIS가 HTTP Expires 헤더를 재정의하는 Cache-Control 헤더에 추가하는 지시문을 지정합니다. 이 특성은 이전 클라이언트 및 프록시 서버가 압축된 파일을 캐시하려고 시도하지 않도록 합니다. 이 설정을 사용하려면 sendCacheHeaders 특성을 true로 설정해야 합니다. 이 속성에 대한 변경 내용이 적용되기 전에 WWW 서비스를 다시 시작해야 합니다. 기본값은 `max-age=86400`입니다.
`directory`	선택적 문자열 특성입니다. 압축된 버전의 정적 파일이 일시적으로 저장되고 캐시되는 디렉터리를 지정합니다. 참고: IIS 6.0에서 IIS 임시 압축 파일의 기본 디렉터리 경로는 %windir%\IIS 임시 압축 파일이었습니다. 기본값은 `%SystemDrive%\inetpub\temp\IIS Temporary Compressed Files`입니다.
`doDiskSpaceLimiting`	선택적 부울 특성입니다. 디렉터리 특성에 지정된 압축 디렉터리에 저장된 모든 압축 파일이 차지할 수 있는 디스크 공간의 양에 대한 제한이 있는지 여부를 지정합니다. 기본값은 `true`입니다.
`dynamicCompressionBufferLimit`	선택적 uint 특성입니다. 클라이언트에 버퍼를 플러시하기 전에 IIS에서 버퍼링할 동적으로 압축된 데이터의 최대 크기를 지정합니다. 이렇게 하면 동적 압축을 수행하는 데 필요한 메모리 양이 줄어듭니다. 참고: 이 특성은 IIS 7.5에 추가되었습니다. 기본값은 `65536`입니다.
`dynamicCompressionDisableCpuUsage`	선택적 uint 특성입니다. 동적 압축을 사용하지 않도록 설정할 CPU 사용률의 백분율을 지정합니다. 참고: 이 특성은 동적 압축이 꺼지는 CPU 상한으로 작동합니다. CPU 사용률이 dynamicCompressionEnableCpuUsage 특성에 지정된 값보다 낮으면 동적 압축이 다시 활성화됩니다. 기본값은 `90`입니다.

`staticCompressionIgnoreHitFrequency`	선택적 부울 특성입니다. True이면 일정 기간 내에 특정 횟수에 도달한 경우에만 정적 파일이 압축되는 동작을 사용하지 않도록 설정합니다. 정적 콘텐츠를 항상 낮은 대역폭 사용량으로 압축하려는 상황이 발생할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어 시스템에서 웹 서버와 요청자 간에 에지 캐싱이 있는 부하 분산 장치를 사용하는 경우 항상 정적 콘텐츠를 압축하여 이후 요청이 웹 서버에 도달하지 않기 때문에 압축되지 않은 파일이 에지 서버에 캐시될 수 있습니다. 동작을 사용하지 않도록 설정하지 않으면 10초 동안 적중률이 2회보다 크거나 같으면 정적 콘텐츠가 압축됩니다. 적중률이 낮을수록 콘텐츠가 압축되지 않습니다. 기본값은 `False`입니다.

Office 2007 문서는 기본 제공 압축을 사용하므로 IIS에서 압축할 필요가 없습니다.
