How to install Clarity on Joomla

Step 1

Log into the Joomla Administration control panel. Instructions can be found here.

Step 2

Go to System > Manage > Extensions. Select Install Extensions.

Select Install from URL tab.

Paste the following URL https://github.com/microsoft/clarity-joomla-plugin/raw/main/clarity-joomla-plugin.zip in the text field, then select check and install.

Go to Extensions > Plugins.

Search for Clarity and open it.

Locate your Clarity ID and copy it.

  1. From the Clarity dashboard, go to Settings.
  2. At the top, select Setup.
  3. Under 'How to install Clarity?', select Install Clarity on third-party platforms.
  4. Select Joomla. Your Clarity ID is at the top of the page (for example, 555u86t011).

Step 8

Paste your Clarity Project ID, then change status to Enabled and select Save.
