Generates the rdpmc instruction, which reads the performance monitoring counter specified by counter.

Syntax

unsigned __int64 __readpmc(
   unsigned long counter
);

Parameters

counter
[in] The performance counter to read.

Return value

The value of the specified performance counter.

Remarks
