Important

The functionality noted in this article is currently available for customers on the stand-alone Dynamics 365 Human Resources. Some or all of the functionality will be available as part of a future release on the Finance infrastructure after Finance release 10.0.25.

Human Resources

In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources, waiting days establish a monthly milestone to use for benefit plans. For example, a waiting day of 15 represents the 15th day of each month.

  1. In the Benefits management workspace, under Setup, select Waiting days.

  2. Select New.

  3. Specify values for the following fields:

    Field Description
    Waiting day A unique identifier for the waiting day.
    Description A description of the waiting day.
    Day The day of the month that the system should set the waiting period date to.

  4. Select Save.
