Generate an Update Report

You can generate a report that lists specific update statuses, security ratings, and deployment status for all or specific computer groups and selected classifications. You can print the report, export the report, and open the report in Excel.

Importante

To ensure that you can view reports in the Consola de administrador do Windows Intune, if you are viewing the Consola de administrador do Windows Intune with a web browser that has a pop-up blocker enabled, you must configure the pop-up blocker to allow pop-up windows from Windows Intune. If you do not do this, you may be unable to view reports or complete other tasks in the Consola de administrador do Windows Intune. For information about other tasks that require Windows Intune pop-up windows to be allowed, see Release Notes for Windows Intune.

To view an update status report

  1. Open the Consola de administrador do Windows Intune.

  2. In the workspace shortcuts pane, click the Reports icon.

  3. In the navigation pane, click Update Reports.

  4. On the Update Reports page, under Report type, click Update Status Report.

  5. In the Update classification area, click one of the following to customize the report results:

    • Important Updates. Includes security updates, critical updates, update rollups, and service packs.

    • High-priority updates. Includes security updates and critical updates.

    • Select a specific product classification. If you select this criterion, you must also select a product classification from a list that is similar to the following:

      • Critical Updates. Widely released fixes for specific problems addressing critical bugs unrelated to security.

      • Security Updates. Widely released fixes for security-related vulnerabilities that are product-specific. Security vulnerabilities are rated based on their severity. The severity rating is indicated in Microsoft security bulletins as Low, Moderate, Important, or Critical.

      • Applications. All software that is installed on a group of computers.

      • Definition Updates. Frequent and widely released software updates that add to a product’s definition database. Definition databases are frequently used to detect objects that have specific attributes, such as malicious code, phishing Web sites, or junk mail.

      • Service Packs. Tested, cumulative sets of all hot fixes, security updates, critical updates, and updates. Service packs may also contain additional fixes for problems that are found internally since the release of the product and a limited number of customer-requested design changes or features.

      • Update Rollups. Tested, cumulative sets of hot fixes, security updates, critical updates, and updates packaged together for easy deployment. Update rollups generally target a specific area, such as security, or a component of a product.

    Nota

Your list may differ, depending on the classifications that were selected for your organization’s account.

  6. In the Update Status list, you can specify updates with the following status: All, Installed, Pending, Requested, or Failed. The options that are available in this list depend on your selection in the Effective Deployment list.

  7. In the MSRC (Microsoft Security Response Center) Rating list, select the severity rating assigned to the security vulnerability fixed by the update. You can specify updates that fix security vulnerabilities with the following ratings:

    • Not Specified Updates that fix security vulnerabilities that have any of the following ratings: Low, Moderate, Important, or Critical

    • Low. A vulnerability whose exploitation is very difficult or whose impact is minimal.

    • Moderate. A vulnerability whose exploitation is reduced to a significant degree by factors such as default configuration, auditing, or difficulty of exploitation.

    • Important. A vulnerability whose exploitation could result in compromise of the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of users’ data, or of the integrity or availability of processing resources.

    • Critical. A vulnerability whose exploitation could enable the propagation of an Internet worm with little or no user action.

  8. In the Effective Deployment list, you can specify updates for which you have selected the Install or Do Not Install approval setting. The options that are available in this list depend on your selection in the Update Status list.

  9. In the Select Computer Groups list, you can select updates that are approved to specific computer groups. To do this, click Add. In the Select Computer groups for this report dialog box, select the check boxes that correspond to the computer groups that you want, and then click OK.

  10. Click View Report. An Update Status Report page opens in a new window that displays the status of updates that satisfy the criteria that you selected. The list can be sorted by any of the columns, such as Update Title, Update Classification, Approved, and so on, by clicking the applicable column heading. The column % Evaluated is not sortable. You can expand the updates in the list to show more detail by clicking the directional arrow next to the list item.
