anahtar unchecked sözcüğü, integral türü aritmetik işlemler ve dönüştürmeler için taşma denetimlerini gizlemeye yöneliktir.

Denetlenmeyen bir bağlamda, bir ifade hedef türün aralığının dışında bir değer üretirse taşma işaretlenmez. Örneğin, aşağıdaki örnekteki hesaplama bir blok veya ifadede gerçekleştiriliyorsa, sonucun tamsayı için çok büyük olması yoksayılır ve unchecked int1 -2.147.483.639 değerine atanır.

Ortam unchecked kaldırılırsa bir derleme hatası oluşur. İfadenin tüm terimleri sabit olduğundan taşma derleme zamanında algılanır.
