注解

泰国佛教历法中的闰年对应于公历中的同一闰年。 公历中的闰年定义为公历的公历年，可均匀除以 4 的公历年，除非它被 100 除。 然而，可除以 400 的公历年是闰年。 普通年份有 365 天，闰年有 366 天。

闰月是仅发生在闰年的整个月份。 泰国佛教历法没有任何闰月。
