ElementHost.BackColorTransparent Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the hosted element has a transparent background.

 property bool BackColorTransparent { bool get(); void set(bool value); };
public bool BackColorTransparent { get; set; }
member this.BackColorTransparent : bool with get, set
Public Property BackColorTransparent As Boolean

Property Value

true if the hosted element has a transparent background; otherwise, false. The default is false.

The BackColorTransparent property enables bitmap copying, which enables hosted elements to use transparency over the host container. This is useful when the element is over an image or gradient background.

For performance reasons, the BackColorTransparent property is turned off by default.
