Feature details

Power Automate, with UI flows, allows anyone to create robotic process automation (RPA) that can replay UI interactions with web and desktop applications. Since the April 2020 release, you can already run concurrent UI flows using a cluster of devices.

The June 2020 release brings support for multi-user sessions for Windows Server (High-density). This will allow you to run multiple UI flows in parallel on a single Windows Server machine, saving on infrastructure costs.

To configure multi-user sessions on Windows Server you will need the following:

  • A Windows Server 2016/2019 machine with the on-premises gateway installed
  • The latest version of UI flows running on this machine
  • Two or more user accounts to create UI flows connections that target the gateway on the Windows Server 2016/2019 machine

![NOTE] If you want to use more than two parallel user sessions on Windows Server you will need Remote Desktop Services enabled. Learn more about Remote Desktop Services.

For more details about this feature, go to Run attended and unattended UI flows.
