有幾個步驟可以最佳化 System Center 2012 效能:Data Protection Manager (DPM) 的資料複寫和同步處理,包括網路節流、資料壓縮、錯開同步處理及最佳化快速備份。There are a number of steps you can take to optimize the performance of System Center 2012 - Data Protection Manager (DPM) data replication and synchronization, including network throttling, data compression, staggering synchronization, and optimizing express backups.

網路節流設定Network throttling

網路頻寬使用節流設定是在備份的機器層級設定,您可以針對上班時間、非上班時間及週末指定不同的網路頻寬使用節流設定,而且可以為這些類別各自定義時間。Network bandwidth usage throttling is configured at backed up machine level and you can specify different network bandwidth usage throttling rates for work hours, non-work hours, and weekends, and you define the times for each of those categories. 請如下啟用節流設定︰Enable throttling as follows:

  1. 開啟 DPM 主控台 > [管理] > [代理程式] ,選取您要啟用頻寬節流設定的電腦 > [節流] 。Open DPM console > Management > Agent, select the machine on which you want to throttle bandwidth > Throttle.

  2. 按一下 [節流] > [啟用網路頻寬使用節流設定] 。Click Throttle > Enable network bandwidth usage.

  3. 選取該電腦的 [節流設定] 與 [工作排程] ,然後按一下 [確定] 。Select Throttle Settings and Work Schedule for the machine and click OK.

    注意

    您可以分別設定工作時間與非工作時間的網路頻寬使用節流設定,並定義受保護電腦的工作時數。You can configure network bandwidth usage throttling separately for work hours and nonwork hours, and you can define the work hours for the protected computer.

  4. 若要套用設定,請按一下 [確定]To apply your settings, click OK.

請注意,網路頻寬使用也會受到群組原則的限制。Note that network bandwidth usage can be also limited by Group Policy.

本機電腦上的群組原則可保留頻寬限制會決定所有使用封包排程器之程式 (包括 DPM) 的合併可保留頻寬。The Group Policy reservable bandwidth limit on the local computer determines the combined reservable bandwidth for all programs that use the Packet Scheduler, including DPM. DPM 網路頻寬使用限制會決定 DPM 在建立複本、同步處理和一致性檢查期間可以使用的網路頻寬量。The DPM network bandwidth usage limit determines the amount of network bandwidth that DPM can consume during replica creation, synchronization, and consistency checks.

如果 DPM 頻寬使用限制 (單單自己或是與其他程式的限制加總) 超過群組原則可保留頻寬限制,則可能無法套用 DPM 頻寬使用限制。If the DPM bandwidth usage limit, either by itself or in combination with the limits of other programs, exceeds the Group Policy reservable bandwidth limit, the DPM bandwidth usage limit might not be applied. 例如,如果每秒 1 GB (Gbps) 網路連線的 DPM 電腦具有百分之 20 的群組原則可保留頻寬限制,則 200 Mbps 的頻寬會保留給所有使用封包排程器的程式。For example, if a DPM computer with a 1-gigabit-per-second (Gbps) network connection has a Group Policy reservable bandwidth limit of 20 percent, 200 Mbps of bandwidth is reserved for all programs that use the Packet Scheduler. 如果接著將 DPM 頻寬使用設定為最大值 150 Mbps,並將網際網路資訊服務 (IIS) 頻寬使用設定為最大值 100 Mbps 時,則 DPM 和 IIS 的合併頻寬使用限制超過了群組原則可保留頻寬限制,且 DPM 限制可能無法套用。If DPM bandwidth usage is then set to a maximum of 150 Mbps while Internet Information Services (IIS) bandwidth usage is set to a maximum of 100 Mbps, the combined bandwidth usage limits of DPM and IIS exceed the Group Policy reservable bandwidth limit, and the DPM limit might not be applied. 若要解決這個問題,請降低網路頻寬使用節流設定的 DPM 設定。To resolve this issue, reduce the DPM setting for network bandwidth usage throttling.

啟用資料壓縮Enable data compression

在線壓縮設定於保護群組層級,以便備份到磁帶。On-the-wire compression is configured at the protection-group level for backup to tape. 將資料壓縮可以減少磁帶上需要的空間,並增加相同磁帶可以儲存的備份工作數目。Compressing data reduces the space needed on the tape and increases the number of backup jobs that can be stored on the same tape. 壓縮並不會大幅增加完成備份工作所需的時間。Compression doesn't significantly increase the time required to complete the backup job. 加密可提高資料安全性,而且也不會大幅增加備份作業所需的時間。Encryption increases data security, and also doesn't significantly increase the time required for the backup job. 加密需要 DPM 伺服器上的有效憑證。Encryption requires a valid certificate on the DPM server. 請如下設定壓縮︰Configure compression as follows:

  1. 開啟 [DPM 系統管理員主控台] > [保護] 檢視。Open DPM Administrator console > Protection view.

  2. 按一下 [最佳化效能] 。Click Optimize performance. [網路] 索引標籤上,選取 [啟用連線壓縮]On the Network tab, check Enable on-the-wire compression.

錯開同步處理的開始時間Stagger synchronization start times

為了最佳化效能,您可以將不同保護群組之同步處理工作的開始時間錯開,讓這些同步處理工作在不同的時間開始。To optimize performance, you can offset the start time of synchronization jobs across different protection groups so that all of them do not start at the same time. 您也可以錯開同步處理的啟動時間,以最佳化另一部 DPM 伺服器的次要保護。Offsetting synchronization start times can also be used to optimize secondary protection of another DPM server. 如下位移:Offset as follows:

  1. 按一下 [DPM 系統管理員主控台] > [保護],然後選取保護群組。Click DPM Administrator Console > Protection and select a protection group.

  2. 按一下 [最佳化效能] 。Click Optimize performance. 在 [網路] 索引標籤的 [時間位移量 (自 <time> 開始)] 欄位中,選取位移同步處理工作開始時間的小時與分鐘。On the Network tab, select the hours and minutes to offset the start of the synchronization job in the Offset <time> start time by field.

最佳化快速備份Optimize express backups

為了讓您可以快速地復原應用程式資料,DPM 必須定期建立快速完整備份。To provide quick recovery of application data, DPM must create an express full backup periodically. 快速完整備份操作通常會導致伺服器資源的需求暫時增加約 5%,而且會持續數分鐘。The express full backup operation typically increases the demand on the server's resources by 5 percent for several minutes. 為降低對伺服器資源的需求,可以排定較少的快速完整備份,但這樣會增加資料復原時間。To reduce the demand on the server's resources, you can schedule fewer express full backups, but this can increase data recovery time. 如下修改排程︰Modify the schedule as follows:

  1. 按一下 [DPM 系統管理員主控台] > [保護] ,然後選取要修改快速完整備份排程的保護群組。Click DPM Administrator Console > Protection and select the protection group for which you want to modify the express full backup schedule.

  2. 按一下 [最佳化效能] ,並在 [快速完整備份] 索引標籤上選取快速完整備份可用的時間,然後按一下 [新增] 。Click Optimize performance and on the Express Full Backup tab, select the available times for the express full backups and click Add. 針對快速完整備份選取星期幾。Select the days of the week for the express full backups.
