準備磁碟儲存空間Prepare disk storage

容量需求Capacity requirements 容量需求主要是根據受保護資料的大小、每日復原點大小、預期的磁碟區資料成長率及保留範圍目標而定。Capacity requirements depend primarily on the size of protected data, the daily recovery point size, expected volume data growth rate, and retention range objectives.

每日復原點大小會參考單日對受保護資料所做之變更的大小總和。Daily recovery point size refers to the total size of changes made to protected data during a single day. 大約會等於增量備份的大小。It is roughly equivalent to the size of an incremental backup. 保留範圍會參考您要在磁碟上儲存受保護資料之復原點的天數。Retention range refers to the number of days for which you want to store recovery points of protected data on disk. 針對檔案,DPM 最多可以針對保護群組內含的每個磁碟區儲存 64 個復原點,而且每天最多可以針對每個保護群組建立 8 個已排程的復原點。For files, DPM can store a maximum of 64 recovery points for each volume included in a protection group, and it can create a maximum of 8 scheduled recovery points for each protection group each day.

設定存放集區Configure the storage pool

在依照必要條件規定至少設定一個磁碟之後,您便可以將它加入存放集區。After you have at least one disk set up in accordance with the prerequisites, you can add it to the storage pool.

  • 在 [DPM 系統管理員主控台] 中,依序按一下 [管理] > [磁碟]。In DPM Administrator Console, click Management > Disks.

準備磁帶備份Prepare tape backup

  • DPM 可以備份到磁帶媒體櫃或獨立磁帶機。DPM can back up to tape libraries or standalone tape drives.
