PKEY 值定義于 Propkey.h 中。

如果 System.ItemType 是VT_EMPTY，則此屬性的值也會VT_EMPTY。 如果專案是檔案，則此屬性的值與您將檔案的 System.ItemType 值傳遞至 PSFormatForDisplay時相同。

此屬性不應與 System.Kind混淆，這是高階的使用者易記種類名稱。 例如，對於.doc檔檔，各種屬性如下所示：
