When will the Azure B2C JourneyInsight node support ConnectionStrings as well as Instrumentation Keys?

Instrumentation keys for Application Insights are going to be EOL in March 2025 (less than a year away): https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/updates/technical-support-for-instrumentation-key-based-global-ingestion-in-application-insights-will-end-on-31-march-2025/

If it is possible at present to use a connection string rather than an instrumentation key, would it be possible to get the setup in the samples?

If it is not possible, when will it be possible?

Thanks

@Saul Nachman - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

It is possible to use a connection string instead of an instrumentation key. Please find the below doc for more info: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/app/migrate-from-instrumentation-keys-to-connection-strings

This document provides a step-by-step guide to migrate from instrumentation keys to connection strings. It also includes information on prerequisites and migration at scale.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
