Request Entra ID Access

Hello,

We recently took over a legacy application from a customer that uses MS Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) to manage their RBAC. The previous company had access to it, and now we also need access to the Entra ID.

The admin from our client mentioned that we need to make a "request" for collaboration or access to Entra ID, but couldn't provide details on how to do that.

Does anyone know the exact steps or a similar solution to achieve the same result? Any guidance on how to request this access would be greatly appreciated.

I understand you would like to know how to collaborate with clients via Azure tenant.

To be able to archive this, the client has to invite you to their tenant but performing guest invites on Azure.

You can archive this by following this documentation.

thank you for your response. However, I believe I didn't explain the problem thoroughly enough.

We are already a guest in our client's Entra, but we don't have read permissions to access GroupMember. We need to configure the RBAC for the new resource in Azure, but we are encountering an error indicating that we don't have access to the client's Entra.

Previously, the developer requested access to the GroupMember.ReadAll role using a specific link. Now, the admin of our client has instructed us to follow the same process, but I am unsure how to proceed.

I believe the link was created in Entra or via a PowerShell command, but I'm not certain. Here is an example of the link format we are referring to:

https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_RegisteredApps/ApplicationMenuBlade/~/CallAnAPI/appId/<APP_ID>/isMSAApp~/false

Could you please provide guidance on how to create this link or the PowerShell command required to request access to the GroupMember.ReadAll role?
