Hi ,

We have SCCM infrastructure with running 10 DP server 2k12 running which is EOL. For this we have configured 10 new DPs with server 2k22 version. Now the challenge is old DP has huge content and we would like to copy all the content to new DPs.

Please suggest best method to copy the content( application, packages, Task Sequense, updates, driver packages etc. from old DPs to new DPs..

Thanks & Regards,
Muhammad Adeeb

There a are couple of options that come to mind -

    1. Configure new dps as pull dp and let content transfer jobs run from tbe source dps.
    2. Pre-stage content to speed up the replication\sync.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Agree with @Rahul Jindal [MVP] . We can use prestaged content to copy the content from old DPs to new DPs more efficiently. For more information, please refer to:

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon
