Manage Excel Services global settings (SharePoint Server 2013)

Important

The steps in this article apply to SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise.

Excel Services global settings include settings for the following:

  • Security

  • Load balancing

  • Session management

  • Memory utilization

  • Workbook cache

  • External data

Use the following procedure to update one or more of the Excel Services global settings. You must be member of the Farm Administrators group or an Administrator for the Excel Services service application that you are configuring.

To edit Excel Services global settings

  1. On the Central Administration home page, in the Application Management section, click Manage service applications.

  2. On the Manage Service Applications page, click the Excel Services service application that you want to manage.

  3. On the Manage Excel Services page, click Global Settings.

  4. On the Excel Services Application Settings page, update the settings that you want to change, and then click OK.
