For the Live Migration and CSV networks is it also recommended to use a SET Switch instead of Teaming, or rather possibly using multiple NICs on the same network, each with it's own IP, without SET?
What's the Network Recommendations for Hyper-V Cluster 2019
Hi,
We are going to build a new hyper-v cluster based on windows server 2019 on 4 nodes, each node have 8 10 gb network card
we are planning to use NIc teaming and create the following 4 NIC
- Management Network
- Live Migration Network
- Cluster/CSV Network
- Storage Network
I've read that it's not recommended to use NIC teaming feature for the Storage Network and instead should use MPIO
Also does the following link also applies for windows server 2019 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-r2-and-2012/dn550728(v=ws.11)
Thanks,

Are you deploying to a traditional SAN with ISCSI or is this an hyperconverged setup?
If this is a SAN the advice above is sufficient, if this is hyperconverged the approach is different. -

Yes that's right, it's not recommended to use NIC teaming for the storage network, better go with MPIO, some configurations have changed since Windows Server 2012/R2, I would highly recommend going through the articles below, they offer really good information about Hyper-V networking and how you should set it up.
