Customizing picture placeholder in PPT

I am needing to direct a picture placeholder inserted in the PowerPoint slide master to be directed to a specif folder (image gallery) to ensure users use the correct images. Currently, it automatically opens your own image galllery on your computer. Can this be done?

    In my opinion, I’m afraid it may not be achieved.
    According to my test, when inserting pictures, it navigates to the location that you open last time by default.
