Had to go to Google to find out how to locate my Win 10 Version number.
And [Win + R] then winver ?
(and why a Tag winapi-sdk ?)
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Had to go to Google to find out how to locate my Win 10 Version number. Searching this forum was not helpful.... Microsoft documentation is very silo'ed. M365 support doesn't know how to help me if the correct answer is an Intune or AD procedure.

Because it wouldn't let me post the question without tagging something, and whatever that thing is that I used as a tag, was the only choice. I wasn't allowed to create a tag for something relevant, like Version, or windows_10_version.
Just type winver in search box(Cortana) and hit Enter, then you will see this interface, this yellow row is your Windows 10 version.

I've looked at that screen for decades. In my opinion, Microsoft has grown increasingly lax about version controls over the last 25 years or so, beginning with new releases of Windows 97 which Microsoft attempted to roll out without telling anyone. All "version numbering" I've seen lately deals with the dual versions of Windows 10 (Pro and Home), and includes a 4 digit number. I don't see any 4 digit numbers in the screen you posted.
This is yet another issue where which I believe Microsoft strategy has dragged tech people off into the woods. I do not have a personal issue, since Google is still helpful.
