Hi @Kei Moon , you can create a custom domain name by following this documentation. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We have an active lab environment with AADDS which is using, for example, abc.onmicrosoft.com as an initial domain name. We now need to create another lab environment with a custom domain name, which will require to have a public certificate authority. Since we are in a position where we cannot delete and re-create AADDS, what is the best approach to use the custom domain name in the new lab, where all new VMs will need to be joined to the new domain? The new custom domain name is verified in Azure.
Hi @Kei Moon , Azure AD Domain services does not have a concept of verified domain. It works just like onprem domain where you can give any name to domain. However if you would like to keep the AADDS name same as the verified domain name, then you need to delete the AADDS & recreate it.
