Out of nowhere, I am having issues syncing notebooks on OneNote for Windows 10. I see all of my work on OneNote in the browser, but I keep getting an error telling me to sign in. The error reads as: "To sync this notebook, sign in to OneNote." "Page last synced at 10:55 PM | E0000024 de2nn 40001 | 71dbc15b-e062-402e-a534-35c3384fbefe 202103160255". I can see all of the pen markings but none of the files I print into sections.

With Windows 10 and the version you shared, you have access to the Universal version of OneNote. However, sometimes your cache or other files can become corrupted and prevent you from signing in to OneNote.

Have you tried to reset OneNote. This is relatively simple, and you can do it by following these steps:

Note: Make sure all of your notebooks are available via mobile / online before the reset.

    1. Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app. When the Settings app opens, navigate to Apps section.
    2. Select OneNote from the list and click on Advanced options.
    3. Now click the Reset button. Click the Reset button in the confirmation dialog to reset OneNote.

Now you should be able to start OneNote without any problems. After doing that, sign in and then go to 'More Notebook' section and you should be able to access your older notebooks and you synced.

If this doesn't help, do you have both accounts 'work/school and personal' configured in Windows 10 settings?

Each time I change my password, I need to go into OneNote for Windows 10 and delete my account. Nothing else has worked for me. Of course, OneNote offers to let me sign in first. However, that still leaves me working offline. Why do Microsoft products have so many bugs?

I had this issue while using the desktop app "OneNote for Windows 10". I had to open up a different desktop app called: "OneNote 2016" and then sign into my account. I signed in by clicking a prompt near the top right corner, and then signing in on a pop-up. A few seconds after signing in correctly everything synced in both apps and I was up and running again. Sorry this is an old thread, maybe this will help someone else.

I hope you are enjoying your evening. That is dynamite news!!! I was more than happy to help you and I'm really happy to hear that you are back in action and everything is working correctly. !

I've been working towards building my Microsoft profile so if you get a chance, if you could accept one of my answers it will built my reputation score up on my profile. Either way, we fixed the issue and that's what matters most! Cheers

Thank you. By the way, the problem seems to have fixed itself today. The only thing I did was reset the app again, uninstall it, restart my computer, then installed the app again. Somewhere in the middle, the error resolved (for now, at least). Thanks for your help, Brandon.
