I find Intune lot faster than SCCM Software deployment. From client side, you could sync your settings behind the account settings. Do you use device or user group?
Intune and Software Deployment - How long does it take?
We have around 150 devices and I have started deploying some software for the first time.
How long does it take until the deployment is complete? After 12 hours only 10 devices have been updated.
Is there a way to push new software?
Thanks for your feedback

I have assigned it to all users of the organisation.
What do you mean by syncing the settings behind the account settings?

You can monitor the app deployment status by choosing Device install status. Besides, please go to Devices - All devices in Intune portal, this help check if the devices have been enrolled in Intune correctly, and view the most recent sync time.

2020-07-30T03:40:23.103+00:00 The devices need to check-in with Intune. Windows 10 syncs every 8 hours, or recently enrolled devices sync every 3 minutes for 15 minutes, then every 15 minutes for 2 hours. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/device-profile-troubleshoot#how-long-does-it-take-for-devices-to-get-a-policy-profile-or-app-after-they-are-assigned
You can initiate a sync from the portal like this - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/device-sync#sync-a-device
