Hi. I'm from the PHL and I woke up this morning (0500H) with an email from a certain jiee817@Stuff .com informing me that Microsoft has charged my credit card (did not mention which credit card) $499 for the renewal of Microsoft Defender.
First, I have no idea that I have Microsoft Defender. Second, I do not remember auto-renewal. What I remember is that I have McAfee and Office 365.
Please advise. I read on the web that Defender should be free.
Thank you.

    Hello @Maricar Lambuson ,

from what I read, this feels like a phishing attempt, that's not a professional email address....

As you can see here there are no additional costs to Windows Defender:

First, check your bank account/credit card using the official app or website or contact them over the phone to check if there is an actual transaction.

If no strange transaction is there, you can either ignore the email or inform your bank online security about the email.

Otherwise, contact your bank and keep the email as proof/evidence!
