caller ID policies using AA resource accounts

Hello

I have a colleague who is having problem with Caller ID policies using AA resource account.

They started to look at the caller ID policies earlier last week in response to some issued raised by their end users.

So therefore they would like to create a caller ID policy where they can present the number that is associated to the resource account on the auto-attendant.

They already have an Auto-Attendant linked to a Resource Account as shown below:

But When they attempt to create the caller ID policy in Teams Admin Centre. they don’t get an error they are just unable to select the resource that is associated to the auto-attendant. It only displays the resource accounts associated with a call queue...

They did try to use Service Number but we do not have any service numbers listed within our Tenancy.

So are assuming this is because we are using Direct Routing as opposed to MSFT Call Plans and none of our numbers are provided through MSFT.

See below. Here is a screen shot of the Phone Number Page. Nothing is listed because all of our numbers are provided by our supplier who provides our SBC that we use for direct routing.

When creating a Caller ID Policy using the Service Number option when f I try and search for a Service number either via the Resource Account Name or the CLI number no results are returned.

    Hi @IniobongNkanga-8038

Currently this is not available in Teams admin center.
    Please use Teams powershell instead.

Reference: Manage caller ID policies in Microsoft Teams

To set the caller ID to a resource account phone number and to set the calling party name, use the PowerShell cmdlets New-CsCallingLineIdentity or Set-CsCallingLineIdentity in the Teams PowerShell module 2.3.1 or later. (These options are not currently available in the Microsoft Teams admin center.)
