Simplify SQL Server licensing with MAP Toolkit 6.5

MAP Toolkit 6.5 has been updated to assist with you with upgrading or migrating to Microsoft SQL Server 2012. The SQL Server Proposal, SQL Server Assessment, and SQL Server Usage Tracking reports have been updated to display the information that is needed for the new SQL Server Licensing Models. The SQL Server proposal has been updated to provide an overview of the benefits of SQL Server 2012 and will display a table showing the paid editions of SQL Server discovered by the MAP Toolkit. This version of the MAP Toolkit will discover SQL Server 2012 in your environment and will identify the new SQL Server Enterprise Core-based edition and license model.

The document for determining SQL Server 2012 Core Licensing Requirements is available at https://download.microsoft.com/download/F/F/2/FF29F6CC-9C5E-4E6D-85C6-F8078B014E9F/Determining_SQL_Server_2012_Core_Licensing_Requirements_at_SA_Renewal_Apr2012.pdf
