Účelem testování je určit, jestli je kurzor nad daným objektem, například ikonu nebo tlačítko.

Příklad

Následující příklad vytvoří oblast ve tvaru plus vytvořením sjednocení dvou obdélníkových oblastí. Předpokládejme, že proměnná point obsahuje umístění posledního kliknutí. Kód zkontroluje, jestli point je v oblasti s tvarem plus. Pokud je bod v oblasti (hit), oblast se vyplní neprůstřelným červeným štětcem. V opačném případě je oblast vyplněna poloprůhledným červeným štětcem.
